Keith. C. Roberts

He hasn't done many short exposure images but he decided to try some out as he has done some long exposure images before. Keith gathered together a wine glass (about a third full of tap water), a cherry, a white poster bpard and postitioned them together. He placed the wine glass infront of the white poster board. He then set up the camera equipment having the camera on a tripod at F/10 taken for !/250 seconds with the ISO at 200. He used a cable with a shutter button away from the camera with a flash so he could capture the water droplets clearly.
After everything was set up and Keith dropped the cherry from around a foot above the glass, pressing the shutter button (on the shutter release) as the cherry fell. He took numerous shots of the cherry just hitting the water in the wine glass and the splash exploding out of the glass. The only post-processing he did with this picture was the vignetting in the corners of the picture. The dark corners draw the viewers eyes towards the centre of the image and ensure their focus on the cherry and the splash.
