Andrew Whyte takes long exposure photographs of mostly stars, the sky and traffic.
Andrew says in his biography that he has been privaliged to share his passion first hand at events from local camera clubs to national confrences. His imagery and techniques insights have appeared widely in the media range from daily papers to specialist photography titles.
Andrew never really has a direct approach when it comes to taking his pictures and I think this is because the image itself when it has been taken looks surreal so why confront the scene in a straight forward manner as that's how everyone would normally look at things. I think approaching a picture or a scene at an unusual angle just slightly adds to the surrel feeling the audience get. I think this is one of Andrews intentions to make his audience see something different, beautiful and to have that dreamlike feeling.
